Better than a nanny

Child(ren):
a 3 yr old boy and 10 month old girl

My 3 year old son has been happy here. It was obvious after the first week or two, how much happier he was than at his previous NAEYC school. All the teachers we've had are wonderful, supportive and friendly. That probably sounds like an exaggeration, but it isn't.

CPSC seems to have consistently warm and caring, well-qualified and engaged teachers. Rachel and the head teachers especially made an extra effort to make sure the transition was going well for both my children. At first I didn't quite believe it when Rachel told me they really rarely had kids who didn't get happy there within a couple of weeks, but after my own experience now I understand. CPSC offers many kinds of activities for the kids, but most importantly to me, it teaches good social skills , problem solving, and allows plenty of time for play.

My infant daughter, amazingly to me, was quite comfortable from day one. It was hard for me to let go, but she seemed to take it in stride. My husband and I debated between CPSC and a nanny for our daughter. Having had two nannies before for our son, I think this has been at least as good and better in some ways than a nanny.
