If you are in the Hummingbird, Bluebird, Robin, or Chipmunk classroom this message is for you!

We have a parent meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 3/6/2012 in Room A7 at Cubberley. I have been doing some observation of the preschoolers physical activity. I am intrigued by how much the children learn in this area in their 3rd and 4th years. We hear messages from all directions about how important physical activity is to children's health. And we hear a lot about how physical activity increases cognitive brain function as well. I'd love to talk with you about your child's physical development, what he/she is working on physically, and how he/she goes about making progress and what role you play in their learning. I'll bring some film of the children's physical activity as well. As always we can also talk about anything you are finding challenging with your children.
