Brand New Senior Preschool Climbing Structure Inagurated!
First time down the slides together!
Even the teachers got in the act.
Children, parents, and teachers watched with growing excitement as the new Senior Preschool climbing structure was selected, purchased, and erected over the past 6 months. The past week was expecially exciting as we watched the structure go up piece by piece. First the old structure was demolished and removed, then the ground was prepared, and then up went the new structure. Every day it got more exciting!
Then, finally the big day came! On June 1st the structure was ready and the children tried it out for the first time! The excitement was amazing! Each child attacked a different challenge. And the new structure has so many different challenges for our oldest children. There are rock climbers, net climbers, a tube to make your way through, a round ladder, and a very high tower that you can climb up into and then slide all the way down on your choice of three slides! Wow!
It is just wonderful to watch the children work their muscles and coordinate themselves to conquer the challenges presented to them on this new structure. It definitely enhances our learning environment.
