Twenty Years of Love, Wisdom, and Learning

Norma Leonardo celebrated her 20th anniversary as a CPSC teacher! That's a long time! And for each of those 20 years Norma has dedicated herself to loving and cherishing some of our youngest CPSC children. Norma receives cards, a cake, and gifts to honor her at her 20th Anniversary celebrationLeading the Butterfly classroom for many years now, many parents have trusted Norma with their first baby, their second baby, and even their third baby. They often refer to how wonderful it is to be able to return to Norma's treasured and trusted classroom and care as their family grows. Older children now graduated from the Butterfly Room run in to give Norma a hug now and then. They don't forget their very important relationship with her.

As you watch Norma work with the infants you see a beautiful dance unfold between Norma and her babies. She hears their every invitation to talk and play, she reads accurately their requests for care and assistance and responds in a way that is uniquely attuned to each child. She embodies our philosophy that loving and individually attuned, respectful relationships are the basis for all learning and development. We have appreciated each year of Norma's service and hope to enjoy many more.
